Hi!

My name is Aravindh and I am a 17 year old boy from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, IN, Earth, Solar System, Milky Way. Overwhelmingly obvious from the previous sentence , I am interested in astronomy, and not untypical of such astro-nerds, I spend loads of time with my telescope whenever I have a chance. I am a self-confessed “skepteen”,  for the simple reason that for a a better society, you have to be skeptical of authority and popular beliefs. I also love drawing and dabbling with Photoshop. Having seen few of the blogs here, I admit that I am no professional blogger, but I am brimming with hope that I can improve.

I decided to start a blog when I first entered Plus Two…the year when it all begins. I seemed to be among the only ones who recognised that even school looked like something straight out of George Orwell’s novel 1984. It was when I realized the ultimate irony of school: education prevents you from the actual learning. I had to do something. I started one blog – this one.

I also started another blog about the superb english spoken by one of my teachers . It’s  Ram Dialogues!

I’m a basically a “cool” boy, but I’m definitely not “hot” (The quotation marks indicate that the words have nothing to do with temperature). On second thoughts, forget everything what I said. I am neither hot nor cool.

Finally, I leave you with my favourite line from the Japanese anime Kino’s Journey: “The world is not beautiful. Therefore it is.”
